Talk Title: AI, Data Analysis, and Machine Learning Meet Optimization: A Plenary Talk
Dr. Majid Soleimani-damaneh is a Full Professor and Vice Dean (Research affairs) at the College of Science of the University of Tehran. He supervised 7 Ph.D. theses, 3 postdoctoral researchers, 50+ Master’s dissertations, and 15+ undergraduate projects. His research interests include operations research, optimization, machine learning and financial data analysis. He has published over 120 journal papers, 50+ conference papers and authored a book, led many researcher projects, served as editor-in-chief/board member of numerous international journals. He is the recipient of national awards from the University of Tehran, the Iranian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the President of Iran.
