Prof. Dion GOH Hoe Lian is Associate Dean of Graduate and Continuing Education at the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, and Professor at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, USA. His research focuses on online information sharing and crowdsourcing, social media practices and perceptions, and gamification techniques for shaping behavior. Prof. Goh has been recognised as a World’s Top 2% Scientist (career-long and single-year impact) by Stanford University, and was named a Distinguished Member of the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) in 2024. He is a leading scholar in crowdsourcing, gamification, and human-computer interaction.
